State Rep. Allen Peake has been talking about raising taxes again

Do you remember when Allen Peake supported the largest tax hike in Georgia history, T-SPLOST1?

Thankfully, voters rejected that tax hike back in 2012.

But Allen Peake was quoted in the Macon Telegraph newspaper as saying that bringing T-SPLOST back up for a vote would be “a good idea.”2

In these already tough economic times and with the Obamacare “tax” bearing down on Georgians in full force this year, reviving the largest tax hike in Georgia history is outrageous, don’t you agree?

But should we be surprised that Allen Peake wants to raise taxes?

Allen Peake voted for T-SPLOST 4 times between 2009 and 20103,4,5,6.

In 2012 he voted to raise taxes on used cars7.

And as if health care wasn’t being taxed enough by Obamacare, just last year Allen Peake voted for the so-called hospital bed tax8!

Is there any tax that Representative Allen Peake won’t vote for?

Please call Allen Peake now at 478-361-4617 and let him know that you are not happy about his tax hike votes … or his plans to raise taxes even more in 2014.
